the villa langkawi at Pantai Cenang

awal April hari tu kami ke Langkawi.. right after the school holiday.. so alhamdulillah...pegi kalau bukan musim cuti sekolah memang tak berapa ramai orang..hotel senang nak booking.. kereta dapat harga yang berpatutan.. cable car dengan underwaterworld pon tak penuh.

 

Nak cerita disini kami stay dekat Pantai Cenang, The Villa Langkawi.. hotel nyer kecik..hotel yang agak baru.. takde siapa yang recommend pon.. cuma bila google terjumpa dan terbekenan..tak banyak review tentang hotel ni buat masa ni..itu sebab saya rasa hotel ni hotel baru...

 

location hotel berdekatan dengan pantai tengah dan pantai cenang.. bersebelahan dengan Fave Hotel. Hotelnya kecik dan tak lah se gah Fave Hotel.. bilik nyer tak banyak..mungkin dalam 30 40 buah bilik shj.. harga untuk bilik kami yang ada 2 queen size bed dalam range rm250++.. kami pergi weekday...jadi harga weekend dan musim cuti sekolah mungkin lebih mahal... facilities yang ada, macam jugak hotel2 lain... dalam bilik..lengkap dengan tv, fridge, hairdryer, towel, tea set.. swimming pool semua ada la macam biasa... but again..hotelnyer kecik...

 

pada saya dan en shahir.. hotel ini banyak memudahkan hidup kami.. takde lif yang perlu dipanjat..hotel setingkat jer... jarak kereta dengan bilik pon dekat... senang nak berulang alik...jarak swimming pool dengan bilik pon dekat... jarak cafe dengan bilik pon dekat... bagi kami yang ada anak2 kecik ni amatla mudah... cumanya hotel ini ada nyamuk !! uhuuhuh... banyak sangat tu tidakla.. tp  adala nyamuk !! hahahah...

In sha Allah...kalau misalnya saya sampai lagi ke langkawi.. sy tak berfikir 2 kali untuk stay lagi di sini... :)

persediaan menghantar anak ke taska..

banyak sangat kah pengalaman saya bersama taska...owh...tidaklah begitu banyak.. auni was with taska tasneem bandar puteri at her age 2 and was with taska rohani seksyen 28 during her 4 years old... currently auni is enjoying her day at dzul iman seksyen 28.

adam at the moment is 1 and half years old at taska rohani juga.. previously he was also at taska tasneem bandar puteri...

so basically i have experienced with 3 different taska/day care... banyak perkara yang berbeza beza dikendalikan oleh taska ni rupanya... saya ingatkan semua caranya sama...tapi saya silap..heheheh...

 

pertamanya... tuala yang di guna oleh anak2... ada taska yang akan menyimpan tuala di tempat mereka... contohnya hari isnin kita bagi tuala yang bersih pada hari isnin.. dan kita hanya akan dapat balik tuala tu pada hari jumaat.. tuala akan disidai di sekolah selepas digunakan. unless tuala tu kotor macam anak tercirit ker..dia akan pulangkan awal... ada pulak taska yang tidak menyimpan tuala di sekolah..they dont care about tuala budak..  sidai ka tak sidai ka...kering ka basah ka... diorang tak ambik kisah... yg saya perhatikan..tuala dalam keadaan basah2 akan terus dimasukkan ke dalam beg..tp sy tak berani tuduh..hanya yang pasti..tuala yang dimasukkan semula ke dalam beg petang2 hari berada dalam keadaan basah.. its my task every evening..after i pick up budak2..sampai ajer rumah.. i terus sidaikan tuala tuh... i would prefer tuala tu disimpan di sekolah dalam keadaan bersidai..daripada dalam keadaan basah2 dimasukkan ke beg anak saya...

 

next is how taska manage botol susu anak2.. ada taska yang prefer menyimpan botol anak2 di sekolah.. kita bagi hari isnin...dan kita hanya akan dapat semula pada hari jumaat... boleh bayang tak rupa botol yang kita terima hari jumaat tu rupanya bagaimana..? heheheh... berkerak kerak di puting botol..bau tak usah cakapla... ada taska yang memulangkan botol everyday... yelah...buat apa sekolah nak simpan..basuh atau tak basuh sekalipun..sy prefer taska untuk memulangkan botol susu anak2 on daily basis.. biarlah saya basuh ke rebus ke tonyoh ker...hari esoknya saya akan bagi botol kering yang baru. sy tak faham taska yang tak memulangkan botol susu anak2 setiap hari..apa motip nak simpan botol susu di sekolah? mana kan mampu sekolah nak basuh bersih2 botol susu anak2 di taska... tentunya belambak lambak botol yang nak dicuci.. jadi kan senang kalau pulangkan sajer botol susu tiap2 hari..kalau kotor juga...salah ibu bapalah...

kemudiannya, bantal tilam anak2 di taska.. pengalaman pertama saya..bantal tilam tinggal di taska..cuma sarungnya saya saya tukar every week...jumaat dapat sarung yg kotor..isnin bagi sarung yang baru.. taska kedua tak payah bagi apa2... tilam tak perlu...bantal tak perlu...heheheh... pihak taska ada tilam mereka sendiri..ada bantal sendiri... dan saya yakin sarung tilam di basuh every week... sebab saya nampak mereka menyidainya weekend... ada juga taska yang pulangkan bantal tilam setiap ujung minggu... bukan setakat sarung...bantal tilam pon bawak balik setiap jumaat.. yang ni..sy cara memana pon boleh... cuma lebih mudah dengan pengalaman pertama saya...tilam bantal menetap kat sekolah..sarung sahaja saya tukar everyweek..

banyak lagi kisah2 taska yang berbeza beza sebenarnya...kisah sabun la.. pampers la.. kasut la... baju berapa pasang la.. yuran apa tah lagi... semuanya berbeza beza mengikut taska.. bila ada perbezaan tu kita mula membuat perbandingan..dan di situ jugala kita mula komplen.. kadang2 komplen kita supaya keadaan boleh di perbaiki..bukanlah nak menyalahkan pihak taska semata mata..tp lebih kepada macamana nak memastikan anak kita berada dalam keadaan selamat dan sihat ketika di taska.. almaklum saja la..taska bukan menjaga sorang dua ajer budaknya.. berbelas belas yang nak diperhatikan..

parents pon seharusnya bersedia dengan sebarang kemungkinan.. toleransi dan chemistry between parents dengan taska sgt penting.. saling percaya mempercayai.. selebihnya kita doa sahajalah agar anak2 kita sentiasa berada dalam peliharaan Allah.. tak mampu kita nak memerhatikan anak2 kita di kala kita bekerja... kalau pagi2 anak2 menangis tak mau ke sekolah adalah sebab musababnyer... tanyakan pada anak...dan tanya kan juga pada taska.. auni a bit reluctant to go to taska earlier..menangis tiap2 pagi...asyik tak mau pegi sekolah.. saya berbincang dan minta cikgu focus kat dia sikit.. alhamdulillah.. akhirnya auni ok...takde masalah lagi.. cikgu pon senang bila anak2 happy... itulah dia nyer...

sekian sahaja motibasi saya hari ini..huhuuu...sekadar menyuarakan pendapat isi hati dan perkongsian pengalaman sendiri... sharing is caring...  :)

watch what you say girl.. think before you speak.. be careful of what you are going to say because words can kill...

 

i did feel hurt by the words my friend said to me.. sakit hati.. now that even i feel better than before.. i can`t be treating her as good as before..  I might forgive you but I will never, ever forget..

 

my note: words are very powerful thing.. in a few simple words.. relationships can end, people can cry, hate or becoming angry...please actually think about what you are going to say or before the mean things come out... we should choose the words we are going to say.. or otherwise.. we will lose the best feelings.. there are some people out there really can't handle such a harsh word like that..

 

 

 

my home made cooking..

 

do i love cooking ? it doesn't matter whether i like it or not..the only things that matter is en shahir and my kids love to eat whatever i cooked for them without complain...  but with compliments  :)  some dialogue that encourage me to cook more often are like; 
 

• en shahir:    "ayam tu nampak manthap" "uihh...tak bleh tahan tgk daging kicap tuh"  "tolong panaskan lauk semalam, sy nak makan la".... 
• auni:            "sedapnye mummy masak"  "mummy masak sedaaapp sangat"... 
• adam:          "no sound" makan apa saja!! heheh..

compliment is such a small thing but very powerful in making us feel wonderful. It feels great to receive compliment and it makes me feel valued and yes does boost my self-esteem.. to that, i am happy to explore many more recipes and i tried to cook different food every time..

 

am i good at cooking ? erm.. can i say yes..?! heheh... initially i dont really cook for other or big crowd besides for my husband and my kids..and i dont feel confident to cook for my PIL even..since my MIL is really good at cooking.. but nowaday my mother, my cousin, my brother, my niece and others often saying that my dishes are tasty. they even requested specific menu for me to cook. So since they love my cooking.. i am always happy to cook for them.. i always take this opportunity to try whatever meal that i want, and their happy to eat.. regardless how it turn out. heheh...

 

recently i bought an oven.. my 1st ever oven. so that i have tried oven baking meals.. the easiest as starting was sherphard pie and tomato sauce cheese baked meatballs... i will not share the recipe here..just google and thousand ways of preparing your sherphard pie are on the internet...
 

 

 

 

 

auni celebrated her 4th birthday on 23 december 2012.. the same date also marked our 5th anniversary.. i prepared late dinner. i am very new to baking but yet i'm very proud of it. sherphard pie is very simple, easy and delicious. it turn out that everybody loves it..  me love it too... simple yet tasty. healthy?! i'm not really sure.but inside are minch meat, vegetables and potatoes. so i can say its healthy meal except for the cheese topping.

en shahir prefer eating at home.. but he has no objection for us to dine out sometimes. but with kids age 4 and 1 half... it is yet easire for us to just buy packed food and eat at home. but we sometimes are out of idea on what to pack for dinner... nasi goreng..mee goreng... nasi goreng... mee goreng... which ended up me coooking.. some simple dishes like udang paprik, telur bistik and to be honest en shahir will only ask me to make telur mata kerbau for him with hot steam rice.

 

i can conclude that en shahir is a nasi person. the upbringing has taught him to be that way. he will not prefer mee or bihun sup or anything like that. this is the part that i really feel lucky...lucky that i will need to prepapre the lauk pauk. it was a bit hard earlier tho. yes..he just need that telur mata kerbau.. but i have to explore. after 5 years of marriage i have to be thankful to him for that. i am confident to cook now. i dont care whather others will like my cooking or not..the most important thing, is that en shahir and my kids like it.

my 15 months old Adam..

my 15 months old Adam... is not yet walking and has only 2 bottom teeth...

it is not that Adam can't walk at all.. he will only walk with assistance like me holding his hand.. sometimes he will pull up to his knees, 3 4 steps forward.. fall on his knees again.. but he is not cruising or trying to walk far on his own..  he still choose to crawl.. faster for him i guess.

My plan is to get him a good walking shoes so he feel confident and is not afraid of falling.. i beleive that this nothing to worry about.. adam is moving at his own pace. he will walk when he is ready.. normal range for toddlers to start walking is between 9 - 18 months.. so InsyaAllah.. he will be up and walking around everywhere before long ! 

once he started to walk, we'll long for the days we could put him down and expect him to still be there a minute later...  :)

 

Adam loves to eat.. anything will be fine for him. we recently had introduced him to durian and he loves durian so much.. unstopable.

the facts that he only has 2 teeth doesnt stop him from trying any kind of solid food.. his top gums swollen bad nowadays.. and adam lately a bit cranky and sometimes temperature will go up until 39.. his top front teeth will come very soon i think..

auni was experiencing the same..her first tooth came out when she was 13 months old.. and the rest popped in at once with no issue...

 

 

 

many have said that the later the teeth come out, the better... it is better the child's teeth to be protected by gum tissue as longer as possible. nevertheless, adam can never bite me...heheheh.. maybe it IS true that breast fed babies ussually get their teeth later..perhaps for protecting their moms!

 

 

 

 

adam with 2 bottom teeth at his 15 months old is nothing to concenred much about.. He is a healthy boy and his other milestone and progress is more less the same with auni...

pizza roti gardenia.... roti expired

happy deepavali to all my indian friends.. ramai ke my indian friends? erm...ermmm... Sithra from cosec group the only that i can remember. who else yer... driver company also indian..and not to forget my neighbour pon india. so far thats all...

 

btw, cuti tengah2 minggu memang membahagiakan.. we didnt plan for anything... akhirnya melepak sahaja di rumah.. while en shahir cuci tiga2 kereta...

we started our day dengan melihat roti gardenia yang dah expired 3 days before... but well kept in the fridge.. condition still ok..hijau2..change of color: none. so sebab didnt have the courage enough to eat just like that... so i baked them into the oven instead.. put some tomato sauce base, tomatoes, capsicum, sausage and mozarella.... then bakar into the oven...

 

 

very fast and easy.. just make sure that u have your cheese in you keeping.. sadly roti cuma ada 7 keping... auni requested for more. sorry la kakak... nanti2 mummy buat lagi...

annoying people around me..

 perkara biasa kan.. there will always annoying people around us.. though they are minority but still.. their presence annoy!

 

this is one drama..

loud booming voice.. we can hear every word you said on the phone la.. ok..we knnow that you are angry.. but..anybody can become angry.. but please be angry with the right person and to the right degree and the right time and for the right purpose, and of course in the right way..

 

another drama by the same person..

mood swing.. one minute we are friend.. suddenly another minute we are strangers.. we talked and laughed together at 8:30am.. then i've been ignored by 10am.. One minute, we were talking happily then this person will not talk to me after I talk to someone next to me. the next day, this person approached me and shared something funny and its like  what happened yesterday was never existed. so extremely annoying !

 

sorry to say, i believe that annoying people are those, who aren´t truly happy. They either got hurt recently or in the past, or they´re just missing something and this is the way how they deal with it.

 

so what to do ? let us just walk away...instead of getting mad at annoying people.. let us feel sorry for them.. kesiannn... hating them is really a waste of time.. feel sorry for them instead.. senyum lagi banyak dapat pahala...

 

 

 

 

craving for ketam..

i dont know how to clean ketam.. but i love ketam..even if its a hassle to eat them, it does kind of hurt my fingers but it taste good and  am still love them.. my momo always did the cleaning..

 

masak lemak cili api ketam nenas is not an alien to malaysian ketam lovers.. really delicious and satisfying.. however en shahir will never prefer for masak gulai lemak. for him ketam tu still smelly.. so i have to look for alternatives.. besides gulai lemak.. biasanya i deep fried dan tumis sambal.. but recently i learned ketam goreng telur masin.. en shahir shared his story dining at marina tanjung lumpur.. it was really good he said.. i want to give a try then..

 

i planned to look for ketam tomorrow.. but looking at my calendar.. 24 Zulhijjah.. alamak..will have to wait at least another 2 weeks untill full moon.. the tips is during full moon more crabs, solid and heavy crabs could be caught.. i have to wait then.. :(
